Let's all meditate and be ZEN.

Bad day? Don't take it out on me.

That time we were returning to London from our december trip we all had to go through passport checks. When it was my turn, i got this grouchy old-ish dude. but nevertheless, as always, i smiled at him,

'Hi!'
*looks up, grouchy expression ensues*
'Are you a student?'
'Yes, yes i am'
'where are you studying?'
'Im studying at LSE, the London School of Economics.'
*looks up at me*
'I KNOW what L.S.E stands for.'

whoa, IM SORRY? o.o i only bothered to clarify because last time when i was coming in from malaysia to london, the fella asked me what it stood for so i just wanted to be clear. I didnt even say it in a condescending manner or anything, i dont know why he took offense.

*chuckles uneasily*
*flips through passport, HUGE FROWN*
'DO YOU KNOW THAT YOUR VISA IS EXPIRING?!'
'huh? oh um, i wasnt aware of this, im sorry'
*LOUD sigh*
'so WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?'
'well, um, i guess i'll go back and look it up and see what i can do to fix it'
*flips through passport and then LOOKS at it again, LOUD sigh*
'in fact, its ALREADY expired'
'oh, what?! really?!'
*GLARES at me*
'so WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT!?'
'um, can i just look at it for a moment?'

'um, sorry, doesnt this say the expiry date is on the 29th of October in the year 2012?'
'...'
'...'
*embarrassed smile*
'dont worry about it.'
*waves me through*
'huh? what?'
*spoken like a superhero, as in, 'all in a day's work' kinda thing*
'dont worry about it.'

=______="

like it was MY fault and he was just being nice about it, having a big heart and everything and just waving me through. Feeling generous, so DONT WORRY ABOUT IT. Men and their EGO. I swear all he wanted was to pick a fight or something, ): maybe he was having a bad day? i dont know. Boo. Dont take it out on me.
