Its pointless engaging in a serious conversation with them, cause as far as they know, they're ALWAYS right. Their facts are right, their assumptions are right, everything that spills out from their mouth just so happens to be (to them) the gospel truth or something.
I mean, they're OLDER and WISER, right?
They've been on the EARTH longer, so they should know MORE, right?
and nooooo, there is NO WAY an 18 year old could know more.

So even when they're on the losing side and they KNOW it. Even when they have NOTHING to say in retort, they refuse to admit defeat. They refuse to back down. They choose to remain in denial. They dont want to get down from their high seats, because no, wait...

Tonight's conversation with them made NO SENSE at all. They made assumptions about a friend of mine and somehow deemed it to be true.

I mean, based on NUMEROUS ARTICLES on the NEWSPAPER about OTHER PEOPLE THAT MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN BLUFFING, its OBVIOUS i dont know about my friend as much as THEY do right? obviously im being NAIVE and STUPID, right?
They sniggered when i said 'i think i know her better than you do.'
Like what bryan said, they only believe what they want to. Kind of like kids, dont you think? Only kids arent as stubborn. Kids dont believe they know EVERYTHING in the WORLD there is to know, but adults (general now) do. So honestly, if you think kids are hard to handle, adults are WAY WAAAAY worse (then again, im generalizing, im sure not ALL adults are like that).
Cause adults just can't handle the truth
