In all species in which the female makes greater parental investment than the male (such as humans and all other mammals), mating is a female choice; it happens when the female wants it to happen, and with whom she wants it to happen, not when the male wants it to happen.

The power of female choice becomes quite apparent in a simple thought experiment. In reality, however, women do often say no to men. This is why men throughout history have had to conquer foreign lands, win battles and wars, compose symphonies, author books, write sonnets, paint portraits and cathedral ceilings, make scientific discoveries, play in rock bands, and write new computer software, in order to impress women so that they will agree to have sex with them. There would be no civilization, no art, no literature, no music, no Beatles, no Microsoft, if sex and mating were a male choice. Men have built (and destroyed) civilizations in order to impress women so that they might say yes. Women are the reason men do everything.

Went out earlier with a friend to get French books from the European bookstore and omg, it was raining so heavily.

okay so the rain looks so good in the picture you just want to stand under it and go AH I LOVE THE RAIN (cleanse my soul yadi yada) but trust me, HERE, the rain is SO NOT -AH I LOVE THE RAIN- quality. its like OMG ITS RAINING I WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE! cause the wind is so bloody strong your umbrellas just cant withstand it and it goes all inside out (which totally reminds me of jitjiang btw =___=" remember the post [clicky]? hoho) and its so difficult to push forward cause the wind is pushing you back, its like you're constantly fighting against the wind, and half the time i was wondering if i'd get blown away and fly like mary poppins.

which would be totally cool if i flew to the land she came from and met her there and she started singing...SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious~~ blabbalblablbalbla but anyway, so i was wet and the stupid train line we needed to get onto wasnt working that day so basically, we decided to just come back. so we wasted like 3.20 just to do nothing and walk under the horrible weather. YAY US!

So i came back feeling a little like this,

but then i remembered i had mail to collect from the reception! checked the booky at the reception desk and it was a parcel! =D A PARCEL? FOR ME?!?!

I actually thought perhaps the school sent me something =___=" omg right, yeah i think the school loves me more than everyone else. SSHHH ITS A SECRET. hoho HAHAHHAHA kidding. =.= my sense of humour is sad, i know. shuttup.

In other news, after dinner on Thursday night, went to play foozball for a bit, even though i suck like crap at it (=___=" and cant help but scream lots and make lotsa kungfu-ish sounds when i play... which reminds me of daytona/mario kart and how i keep screaming when i play that too. perhaps i should just NOT play. so embarassing), after awhile these two guys came and played against Kristy and Sheun. And the two guys were pretty good at it, in like 2 seconds, it was 2 - 0. ouch! Then one of the guys said,

'Do you know about the 10-nil rule?'

*blank faces*
'the what rule?'
'basically, if we score 10 goals and you score none, you will have to run around passfield garden in your boxers, for girls, in their underwear.'

O.O

Kristy immediately dropped out, and Sid took her place instead.

....
....

Sheun and Sid lost, 10-nil.

*ahem*

The two guys got pretty confident, and was all, okay lets raise the stakes, they gave sheun and sid a headstart of 3 points and said,

'if you manage to beat us, we will do one round in our boxers, but if you lose, you have to do 2 rounds'

This time, Himesh came along and substituted Sid. And Himesh was not bad as well, and Sheun got his mojo back and was suddenly really really good... HAHHAA so they started leading like crazy, and the two guys started getting worried, and i swear you could feel the tension in the room. HAHAHAHA DRAMA!!! they were like,

'perhaps we were too generous with the 3 goal headstart we gave them'
HAHAHAHHAHA AAAWWW

so in the end they lost... so all 4 of them had to do the round. XD Sheun and Sid went up to change or something so the two guys did their round first. THEY WERE SO CUTE cause it was drizzling a bit, so they got their umbrella out and were both sharing the umbrella, jogging side by side in their boxers around the garden. super like AAWWWW SO ADORABLE CAN. HAHAHAHA when sheun and sid came down, more people came down to watch them run. LOL they should have ran earlier when no one was there. damn funny. so a lot of people were watching and cheering when they did their round. it was hilarious. XD

Edited: Oh and guess what, THE IDIOT GUY WHO DOESNT KNOW HOW TO FLUSH is back to his old habits again! twice yesterday i walked into the loo and saw urine and tissue still in it. I dont mind it so much, at least it doesnt stink. so i just flush before i use. But omg, last night at 1.30am, i went to the loo and i saw...

The other day, Su Ean, Rufus and I went to the old building to cheggit the shaw library (cause su ean and I have yet been to the place), so we were in the elevator and there was this one other lady there too. Rufus was saying,

'i noticed people around here like to ask, how are you doing? but when they ask that they dont expect a long answer, so usually people just say, oh im good. it's kind of their way of saying hi.'

'why don't they just go, wassup yo!'

5th floor. lady got out.

and the 3 of us in the lift were like, hmmm, wonder if she was eavesdropping. (then again, you cant HELP but overhear. =.= so wth?) so we exited at the 6th floor (was it? i dont remember lah) and checked out the library (omg so quiet.) and then went down again, and guess who we bumped into at the lift again! (perfect timing whoop!)

So we all like hmmm! same person! hmmm!! smile smile! HMMM! then rufus goes,

'How are you doing!'
and she goes,

She turned out to be a lecturer, which came as a surprise to all of us cause she looked pretty young! so cool! lalalallaa~~

Anyway, PLANNING TO TAKE UP FRENCH! WHEEE!! And student tutoring starts next week! So looking forward to it, hope it meets up to my expectations. Will be working with lil adorable kiddies!! so i hope anyway. =D Black Eyed Peas at MOS today, and my friend had free tickets and asked me to go along but i said no, cause imma sick and its prolly not a good idea to stay out so late, and i dont really enjoy clubbing either so... =( ANYWAY.

So if you've read my post titled 'Point in White' and you got what i meant by point in white, you would have read what i would have wanted you to have read. But if you didn't, i've made it bloody obvious now what you're supposed to have read and you can go ahead and clicky/scroll down to said post and read.

Continuation, (oh you know the drill):-

What i typed out before in point in white, was a very mild version of what actually happened. because in the real event, when i said knelt down beside her bed, he was actually leaning closer and closer to her trying to touch her and kiss her. EEWW much? well, since then, the sub-warden has like came up and talked to him about it, in which he denied he did anything of the sort and claims,

'I WAS ONLY WENT INTO THE ROOM FOR 5 MINUTES.'

YEAH RIGHT. the sub-warden looked him in the eye and told him 'i know you did much more than that.' Victim hallmate was damn nice to him. Sub-warden gave her three options, she could either give him a formal warning, in which could get him kicked outta passfield OR sub-warden could just talk to him OR she could just let it go. Just letting it go would have been stupid because he would have thought that his conduct was acceptable and might do it again, so she opted for the second one for she didnt want to cause too much of a commotion and didnt want to make such a big deal out of it. mana tau the asshole denied everything.

AND SINCE THEN,

Idiot asshole living on my floor has been causing trouble for everyone. The other morning, i found this piece of paper under my door which said,

'For Gods sake, do you NOT understand ENGLISH? Please close the door QUIETLY because you wake me up every morning. Thanks. or else i will complain.'

Actually mine just stopped at Thanks, the one under my next door hallmates one had the or else i will complain part. Its super like WTF? its not like we wake up very early, and its not like the door closes very loudly either. =____=" and what does he mean by DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH? did he tell us before or something? because I DONT RECALL nothing of that sort. so honestly. what the hell is his problem? So this morning, roomie and i woke up pretty late, around 11am? and she went to the loo. Later on we get this knock on our door, and GASP it was idiot who lives on my floor! and he said we were BOTHERING him cause we didnt close our door softly enough.

and i think, because it was already 11am and he couldnt say OMG ITS SO EFFING EARLY YOU DISTURB MY SLEEP I HATE YOU I COMPLAIN COMPLAIN COMPLAIN IM A BABY I NEED TO WHINE WHY YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT ME TO SUBWARDEN VENGEANCE IS MIIIIINNEEE!! instead he said, I was having an interview and the door closing disturbed me.

honestly, ITS NOT THAT LOUD. and hes never complained before point in white incident, and ALL OF A SUDDEN, his hearing ability has HEIGHTENED. Also, hes been leaving us "NICE" surprises in the loo. in the form of,

damn nasty. and because he leaves it there for so long, it stinks up the WHOLE toilet and when you flush it doesnt all go down and after flushing for like 4 times, theres still residue. BLEAAAAHHH. damn annoying!!!! behtahan!!! honestly, if he comes and knocks on my door again, imma gonna tell him off. cause my roomie (she opened the door i was still sleeping) is too nice to say anything about ... FLUSH THE TOILET AFTER USE and so on.

On a brighter note,
Went for this halloween thing on friday night. Organised by my hall at some bowling alley which was sorta like a club too. It was alright, save for the fact that i lost my voice =( mehness.
