Its nice to be reminded that some things never change
And i get that feeling whenever im with you :D.
After my bio paper on friday, went out with karen to watch,
Expected it to be 'something' because i remember bryan being quite excited about it, saying that he thinks it would be cool and what not. But before i go into SPOILING THE MOVIE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT WATCHED IT (YES, this is a warning, i am going to SPOIL THE MOVIE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT WATCHED IT, so if you dont want it SPOILED for you, dont read on. i repeat, DO NOT READ ON), let me first start with this.It was early, so there were only around 7 people in the cinema. 7. only 7. but we're like, okay, never mind, this is a PG13 movie right? it shouldnt be scary or anything right? then this advert -or so we thought- came up, which started something like this,
'how do you feel after you watched a movie? HAPPY? SAD? DEPRESSED? EXCITED?..blablablala'
and then in the so-we-thought-advert popped up this lady that was like hanged in the cinema. I immediately shielded my eyes using my jacket sleeve going like SHIIIIT, this is scary. Karen was brave and went on watching... like half a minute later she goes
'this BETTER be an advert.'
LOL. it wasnt. it was the trailer for that movie, ghost in the cinema, or something like that. XD im so glad i didnt watch it, cause karen was sort of freaked out. im like 'I DONT THINK ITS AN ADVERT!! ITS IN A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE, SHIIIIITT!!!!' and we're both like 'THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE PG13, WTH!! WHY ARE THEY PLAYING THIS TRAILER NOOOOW??!?!?!' XD
Karen was hoping it was some stupid advert that would start out scary but end up being stupidly funny, you know the kind. well. looool, whats worse was that we were in the cinema with only 7 people. so it was cold. and lonely. =___="

'that would just be A GUY who wants to watch the movie.'
so we both like calmed each other down, and the movie 'knowing' started. STUPID MOVIE was sort of scary too.. =___=" AND YOU KNOW I BEHTAHAN SCARY MOVIES. there were lotsa scenes i had to close my eyes cause i was too chicken xp. and its like, i had to keep covering the side of my face so i couldnt see the side of the cinema, cause i was sort of freaked out =__=" since there were so few people in the cinema, i didnt want to see how empty the cinema was.
I dont know how that helped, but it did.
and my hand was really really tired at the end of it.

anyway, the movie was scary at first, and gruesome. i thought it was really pretty gruesome. i think the director is pretty sadistic. what with the first accident thing of the plane crash. he just HAD to show people BURNING to death in the flames. OUCH, that was just like GAAAAAAAHH!! NOOOOOOO!!! and then the whole train crash thing, had to show the train knocking people down =__=" and people going SPLAT.
Sadistic, really!!
The movie would have been pretty much okay, had it not been for the sucky ending. I quote karen,
'the ending was like those chinese essays that we used to write. Like you know, you dont know how to end it so you go IT WAS JUST A DREAM.'

Because of the ending, it made the movie very, not worth watching. super waste of time. Reminds me so much of WAR OF THE WORLDS (you know the one with tom cruise and dakota fanning) where at the end the aliens were killed by a virus....

I expected this to be quite bad because of the comments i've heard from various people. It was surprisingly good though. I really enjoyed the movie =D. Sure luke brandon wasnt as old or as professional or as cool as i pictured him to be, but he was okay in the end. Although i wasnt going gaga over him as... the other girls were, i did think he had super nice eyes =). totally shone in the scene of the interview. AWESOME-ness!!!It is very much different from the book, but i guess its all good =) we should all just compare less and just enjoy it as it is. Because it IS hilarious, and very charming too. AND I THOUGHT TARKIE WAS QUITE CUTE, WHY ISNT ANYONE AGREE-ING WITH ME?!?!?! =(

Went out on saturday with suatwei, shereena, shuling, kelly, suatwei's sister.
However, suatwei and her sis had to leave early, and kelly and shuling werent so interested in watching a movie. so shereena and i did. initially i wanted to watch 'the tale of despereaux', but i dont think shereena really want that. so we decided on fast and furious 4 instead.
Thing is, we decided on that at 4.30pm, the movie was due at 4.45pm... and the line was FRIKKIN long. like CRAZY long. like FRIKKIN CRAZY long. see? But i really really wanted to catch A movie. i like watching movies, see? ...
So i approached this chinese couple and asked them if they could help us get tickets and explained that there was NO WAY we would be able to get them if we lined up now. They were so mean can?!?! THEY TOTALLY SHOOK THEIR HEADS AT ME AND SAID NO!!! i mean, i know its cheating and all, but =( c'moooon!!! was super peeved. how could they deny ME?!?! looool, super fired up then. was determined NO MATTER WHAT, that I WAS GOING TO GET IN AND WATCH THAT MOVIE.
approached the closed counter and told the lady. lady said SHE COULDNT HELP ME and asked me to go to the first counter. booking counter. Lady there was nice and let us buy our tickets. =) Weikhai told me later on that HE ALWAYS DOES THAT =__=", i shoulda known. grrr!! Made me go through all that hassle and get rejected too!!!
Anyway, our tickets were for the FIRST row. ouch? Shereena said we should just sit at the empty seats at the back and hope no one comes to claim them. so we did. and luckily, no one DID come to claim them. =D Awesome much? they were great seats tooo!!!

Oh, i forgot to mention, on friday, after dinner. Karen, brian and i went to giant. while brian got his... whatever, karen and i were walking up and down aimlessly in there talking. SUDDENLY outta nowhere these two indian guys walked out from the aisle and one of them was like LOOKING AT KAREN directly in the face... and held her gaze for more than 2 seconds!! his face was literally inches from hers.
IT WAS SO RETARDEDLY FREAKY!
after his '2 seconds' and he left with his buddy, i pulled karen into the aisle and we both laughed like mad at the freakiness. And we all thought it ended there. LITTLE DID WE KNOW, after that when we were walking out to meet brian, the two indian guys who were standing still near the counter totally aproached us and one of them SAID HELLO.

i was really freaked, so i pulled her and then i ran. yeah, she lagged behind because she didnt know why i was running and stuffies. Grr. lol. ran to brian and told him what happened. the two indian guys like walked out and were standing a few feet away from us. I noticed this and kinda LOOKED at them...

Stayed over at karens house on sat to sunday. We both bullied brian XD by INTRUDING into HIS SPACE and not wanting to LEAVE. Im super light, so obviously i was attacked first. HE KEPT TRYING TO CARRY ME OUT, karen had to HOLD ME DOWN so that he couldnt. then after that he tried to carry karen, and he couldnt. and karen tried to carry me, and she could, and then... and then... and then we stole his skipping rope and went and played with it and he locked us out. but we tempted him out with ice cream in the end. =) I know, we're pretty awesome. Then it started raaaaaining, and karen was all
'LETS GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY IN THE RAIN.'
well, brian and i didnt want to. after the rain stopped, we walked to parks. i say parks because we walked to three, which were all surprisingly nearby. while we were on the seasaw, it started to rain. REALLY HEAVILY.
Funny. karen got what she wanted. XD
Thunder and lightning were a bit scary, but it was fun stomping in puddles and... ultimately getting grass and stuff onto my legs =_________=" thats was not the point, but gah. Karens slippers (which i was wearing) started foaming, so that was cool too. The rain stopped when we reached karens house. Ironic much? but since we were wet already, we played with the hose.
