We celebrated Brenda's birthday. Because we've been having surprise parties for... well EVERYONE in the gang (save for yonghui cause he didnt want one), it was getting rather... tiresome. It really wasnt much of a surprise anymore, cause everyone expected it and it was just a matter of when and where. So, instead of all of us going through the trouble to plan yet another surprise-not-so-surprise party, Brenda made her very own birthday plans.

Had bucket loads of fun!

Kind of hard to sing along when the guys sang cause their pitch was SOOO LOOOOW that it was either we sing as LOW as they were singing, or sing like shit ass high and miss lotsa lotsa notes and go off tune. FYI, we did both. XD HAHAHHAA stupid really, but fun! x) Most of the time it was just us shouting out lyrics anyway.

Funny moment of the night:-

Seng and Karen were making the selection of songs and they turned to ask me what i wanted and i went 'Anything'. After around 5/6 songs later, a song titled ANYTHING pops up and i go 'Whose song is THIS?!?!' incredelously.

They both looked at me like i was nuts, 'you said you wanted!'... and i was like WTH!??!?! and we all burst out laughing =___=" nice.

Later on, the waiter came in with menu for drinks and they asked me to make up my mind and order already, and i went 'just order whatever lah..'. Karen and Seng laughed somemore, it would be funny if they had that drink. I know they do in singapore btw.

Oh and the drinks all had weird names. Lips to lips?!?! Movie star?!?! most of them tasted crappy, to me anyway. Movie star tasted like the purple mentos, in liquid form. That was how suping put it, and i strongly agree.

Sat down for drinks

went home at like around 2am.

Seng, Bren and I followed Bryan back. Not five minutes after we left the parking lot, we saw a police car, we didnt give a crap laaaa, and went past it... ONLY IT CAME IN FRONT OF US AND SIGNALED FOR US TO PULL OVER.

Gasp. gasp. GASP. gasp. GAsp.

Brenda quickly put on her seatbelt. Bryan gets down. Seng gets down. Bren and I watch from the backseat. Meh. Bryan forgot to turn on his headlights. =_________=". Rm50 fly away.

Silver lining : lesson learnt

Anyway, will post about singapore soon. Went there during my first week of holidays. OHOHOHOOHOHOHOHOHO, been much too lazy to blog. i promise to make up for it. again, soon! :)

So he wasn't bad looking, but all we remember about him is that... well, he was a little kid. End of story. No one went gaga over him, no one even bothered to mention him.

anyway, watched wild child recently...


And all of a sudden hes this hot piece of meat everyone cant seem to get enough of! NOW EVERYONES TALKING ABOUT HOW HOT ALEX PETTYFER IS! And the accent! God, i dig the accent! xp anyway, i was gonna say how he grew up and now hes hot when he previously was not, but since i DID THINK HE WAS HOT BEFORE AFTER ALL, i think i've lost that right to say that about him.

anyway, movie marathon with mah nakama yesterday, and one of the movies we watched was
AND OMIGOD!!! Aaron Johnson (plays Robbie in the movie) was so HOT! just two years ago he was... this!

okay fine, he still looks the same =__=" (just that little bit older and has a much better body built) ITS THE HAIR. DAMMIT ITS THE HAIR. i remember not thinking very much of him at all, and then in this movie i was like.. BLOWN AWAY!

Just shows how big a part hair plays in the appearance department after all.

Times are changing! XD we're always going gaga over older actors like... Brad Pitt *swoon at sound of name*, James Marsden, Orlando Bloom etc etc and now actors our age are like coming up and making a breakthrough and... I guess its safe to say they've all grown up, as have we.

And now Brad Pitt doesnt seem all that appealing anymore. Hes OLD now. Unless you watch the shows he acted in when he was younger then hes still OMIGOD BRAD PITT *swoons* xp I wonder if we'll turn into pedophiles when we get really really old. Cause you know? a cycle! Young like older guys, young adults like young adults, old like ... young guys? ZOMG. Like we're 80 and we're watching teevee and we go OH THAT GUY IS HOT! and he turns out to be 20 or something =___="

Anyway, heads up to all those who are looking forward to watching tons of movies at one go, just like we did. Do not bother watching 'DISASTER MOVIE'. It really was a disaster. Waste of time, waste of money. Had a bit of a laugh here and there, but really not worth it. Im pretty sure if i had watched the show alone i wouldnt have found it remotely funny, but since i had company, it was not as bad. =) STUPID STUPID STUPID SHOW!!!

On a completely irrelevant note, i am very easily influenced by people. If i watch a stupid movie with people who found the movie funny, i would laugh as well, cause laughter is infectious. and if i'd watched it with someone who thought it was lame and stupid, i probably would have thought the same thing as said person. For example, watched "tropic thunder' the other day with my cousins, THEY LOVE THE MOVIE. On normal circumstances, i would have hated the movie, really, i know i would have. But since they enjoyed the movie so much, i couldnt help but like it too and find it funny too. Its weird. I know. =___=" Ask bryan, i couldnt stop talking to him about it for... well maybe 10 minutes. But that counts as something, cause i actually brought it up. see? SEE?!?

Also watched "10 promises to my dog", japanese movie. Nothing much, throughout the movie all of us (save of brenda) were complaining how the boy turns out to be kinda ugly. =___=" and they were saying how the producers spent too much money traning the dog and stuff that they had not enough money to hire a cute actor. xp OUCH! HAHAHAHHAA its true though, disappointing. I mean, its a movie! you expect hotter actors. Jaq, suping and I cried. it was only sad at this one part, the rest was all rather boring. nothing much, nothing much at all.

"The other boelyn girl" was a REALLLY good movie! :) Anyone who wants to watch a movie should watch this movie!! awesome really. Sad ending.

Anyway, off to bed. =__=" we all slept at 8am. Cept for kwanseng who thought "the other boelyn girl" would be a boring show and slept at 6am. and then we all woke at 10am, but bryan didnt, cause bryan is a pig. TIRED TIRED TIRED.

hmm... i dont know, i cant imagine not knowing Brenda! We've been there for each other since form 1 x) Eventhough we met waaaay earlier hahahaha! I was thinking again, as i do, all the time, when there is little (close to nothing) to do. And you sprung into my mind. I don't think of you very often, probably only as much as you think of me, which is really that rare, not as rare as once in a blue moon, but you get the idea.

Every time i think of you i cannot help but smile. When others bring tears, you bring on the sunshine. Its funny how it had seemed that you had such a small part to play in my life and yet, and yet you've make this huge ass impact. I do not know how i missed it, or perhaps i knew all along but did not admit to it. You remind me of games, laughter and a whole lot of jokes that would be neither funny nor have made sense to another (then again, that's only my opinion. But on my blog, my opinions are almost all that matters, is it not?)

Memories. Lots and lots of memories. I find it amazing how we can forge 10 precious memories with certain people in only a day but fail to find any with other people even after a year. And with you i've forged a thousand :)

Good memories, bad memories.

But the bad memories never counted for anything, i do not know why. Perhaps because it is you after all, and with you, it's always okay. Just for that reason alone. I believe a very teensy tiny bit of me will always belong to you, for thinking of you alone brings me back and once again i am that girl.

I cant help but feel grateful to you. You haven't always been there for me, and yet you have. You dont even know :) And as our journey of life goes on, i know you'll always be there if ever i need you. If ever i need that ray of sunshine. Its been quite awhile since i last thought of you let alone talked to you.

I thought about changing that, but then again, that wouldn't be like me. It wouldn't be like us, and all the same, it would be like this again. But its okay, i rather like it this way. Sometimes i like to think of you as my guardian angel, as stupid as that sounds.

I hate talking to MY parents
...because they think they know EVERYTHING.

I bet if i asked if they think they know everything, they would shake their heads in denial and go

Its pointless engaging in a serious conversation with them, cause as far as they know, they're ALWAYS right. Their facts are right, their assumptions are right, everything that spills out from their mouth just so happens to be (to them) the gospel truth or something.

I mean, they're OLDER and WISER, right?
They've been on the EARTH longer, so they should know MORE, right?

and nooooo, there is NO WAY an 18 year old could know more.
NO WAY an 18 year old could speak more reason.
Thats just RIDICULOUS.
UNHEARD OF.

OF COURSE.

So even when they're on the losing side and they KNOW it. Even when they have NOTHING to say in retort, they refuse to admit defeat. They refuse to back down. They choose to remain in denial. They dont want to get down from their high seats, because no, wait...

THAT WOULD BE DEFYING THE FRIKKIN LAWS OF NATURE!
OH EM GEE!

THEN THE WORLD WOULD FALL APART!

...and we wouldnt want that, WOULD WE?

So instead, they choose to laugh patronizingly at you. Like you're making no sense, and shake their heads like 'HAHHA A KID TRYING TO MAKE A POINT. HAHAHHAA SO CUTE BUT SO STUPID HAHHAHAHA.' and 'WHAT A JOKE'

Tonight's conversation with them made NO SENSE at all. They made assumptions about a friend of mine and somehow deemed it to be true.

Of course they know my friends better than i do, right?

I mean, based on NUMEROUS ARTICLES on the NEWSPAPER about OTHER PEOPLE THAT MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN BLUFFING, its OBVIOUS i dont know about my friend as much as THEY do right? obviously im being NAIVE and STUPID, right?

They sniggered when i said 'i think i know her better than you do.'

Like what bryan said, they only believe what they want to. Kind of like kids, dont you think? Only kids arent as stubborn. Kids dont believe they know EVERYTHING in the WORLD there is to know, but adults (general now) do. So honestly, if you think kids are hard to handle, adults are WAY WAAAAY worse (then again, im generalizing, im sure not ALL adults are like that).

Cause adults just can't handle the truth

No one likes being wrong.
Adults are WAY worse at accepting that fact than the rest of us.

At least that's what i believe.

And if you're not going to agree with me, i suggest you dont say anything. At least not for now, cause im TICKED off and i dont need someone to provoke me even more.
