SOOOOOOOO, Yesterday night was our performance of THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES, and so far, from what i've heard from everyone who came, IT WAS AWESOME!!! x) Sure, some people forgot their lines but they were SO SMOOTH about it, people did not notice AT ALL. that's how smooth they were. Brilliant stuff, honestly!!
For my piece, 'My Angry Vagina', there's three of us in the piece but i start off first. And just the day before, during dress rehearsal, we were asked to stand at separate doors and jess (another girl in my piece) would give us the cue and we would have to KICK the doors and then start stomping ANGRILY on stage.
During the dress rehearsal, Maisie and i were practicing KICKING the doors and omg, so embarassing, every time i KICKED the door, i stumbled backwards. =____=" and then one girl was like

And i was pretty scared for my six-year-old girl piece, cause like, its a very short piece and i heard on thursday night, the girl did it SOOOOO WELL and im just like OWH SHIT. I've only ever practiced that piece twice (literally, TWICE, not even that we had 4 rehearsals and we ran through it a coupla times, no, we only did it TWICE, EVER) with the girl who does it with me.
But the crowd was teh awesome lah. Like seriously, after EVERY line i say, they laaaaaughed x) And i was like AAAAWWWWW *inside of course, outside i was talking about red high tops, turtles and violins and snowflakes* So im happy happy HAPPY!!
Wheee!! I wish i could have been in the audience watching the pieces though, the whole time we had to be backstage so its like MEH! Anyway, SUPER LOTSA LOVE TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO CAME AND SUPPPOOOORRRTT SUAN AND I =D Eebumz, Nick, Karen, SzeYing, Rufus, Dexter, Jason, KaiSheng, Nicole, Nicole's sister, SuetFong, Sheun, ShonLee, Chen, Hardeep.
