Came out of the exam hall feeling rather okay with EST, i mean the essay was bogus but heck, it wasnt too bad. If i score well in objective and structure, i shouldnt be no problem. So there i was, feeling pretty darn good about the whole thang. Know?

and then the day before yesterday i found out that you have to caps the first word in your answer for the structure section. I know that you're all thinking 'well isnt that what you USUALLY do anyway?' WRONG. for school exams i NEVER EVER bothered with that. And i never got any marks minused off. So it never occured to me that i HAD to.

and news: YOU HAVE TO.

So yeah. Students from other schools know about this, somehow CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL students have NO CLUE. I've been asking around my tuition and they all said that their teacher clearly TOLD THEM they had to do that or else zero. Which is weird how our teachers NEVER SAID A THING. and this has been the marking scheme for YEARS now. YEARS. o.o

Sara called her EST teacher up and her teacher said 'it doesnt matter'. maybe she SHOULD be excused seeing that its only her first year teaching EST. but thats just ODD. If the teacher doesnt know, how do you expect the STUDENTS to know? Friends of mine from the same school have been going

So an important message i leave here for future SPM candidates = CAPS THE FIRST ALPHABET FOR THE FIRST WORD FOR STRUCTURE.

im not very devastated. Ah, it has passed. Theres nothing i can do now. Whats lost is lost.
