Yesterday, sara and yours truly went shopping for christmas pressies!

anyway..we did last minute planning so everything was really messed up. i mean, we already PLANNED to go out a LOONG time ago but we didnt bother to settle transport and everything. i was thinking.. aiyar, LRT lar! there were lotsa complications lar.. we havent even settled where to go. I said Midvalley but she didnt want to cuz she said the things there are really expensive and we'd be over budget.. so yeah.
she wanted to ask her mom for transport, but her mom already went to bed. so she said 'in the morning la'. so the next morning, at 8am i woke up and got ready cuz she said wake up at 9 (and well i like to wake up earlier? cause im always excited 'bout these kinda things hehe). Aaaaannyyyywaaaaayy at 9.15 i called her and she said her mother had LEFT!!! she set her alarm but apparently it didnt ring! (or maybe she just slept through it bwahah) so she said 'now we have to wait for my bro to wake up'. and what time does her brother wake up!?!?! 11am. GOSH. she said she'd call her mom and call me back, her mom didnt pick up the phone so she left her mom a message asking her to call back, but she didnt. o.o
i settled for watching the recorded 'mr and mrs smith' which i still love a lot, mind you, while waiting for her. at around 10/11 something?? i called sara again, she said her brother said can and that she'd be coming at 12. so i waited.. and waited.. 12.30.. lol. i phoned her AGAIN and she said she had things to do. so i sorta gave up waiting and came online. haha.. at approximately 1.45? she finally came! her mom suggested we go to sungai wang, and so we did. =) but before that aunty took us to eat lunch at some indian shop (omg i was so jakun-ted. dont even get me started. XD ). after that aunty fetched us to the monorail at brickfields and we reached our destination at 3pm.
we both have no sense of direction. xp so we were kinda taking a mental note of the places we went to. the place has lotsa lotsa shops anyway.. the people dress really 'lala'.. haha. it was kinda fun, we made lotsa jokes and there was once we saw this SUPER fat, round PINK poodle and we both exclaimed to each other (at the same time too)... 'OMG, JEFFREY!' *no offence meant, we meant buy for him lar* then we both cracked up laughing like idiots in the mid of the shop. xp great minds think alike. bwahah!! it was so hilarious! then after that there was this FISH toy (which looked cacat.. to me anyway) and sara imitated the look. i was writing something down (the costs of the things we were gonna buy and stuff) when i looked up at her, i literally shouted (okay, so not SHOUTED lar) OH MY GOD!!
then we both started laughing again.. haha, then sara wanted to buy it for kwan seng, but it was friggin expensive. why? sara pulled the string at the mouth of the fish 'OMG! IT VIBRATES TOO!' yeah, thats why its so expensive. sara and i looked at each other and started laughing again. XD 'oh.. so you wanna give ks cuz it VIBRATES!??!' eeewww. *we're so polluted. im never getting a toy that vibrates for anyone EVER* think the shopkeeper must've thought we were crazy or something, not forgetting the people in the shop of course. they must've been so relieved when we left. xp
we shopped around for super loooong and sara's legs were tired and the rubber of my shoe came off =__='' (so sad okay). we walked all the floors, round and round (cuz we have no sense of direction, as stated earlier). but at the end of the day, we got pressies for everyone! =) mission accomplished! (cept we didnt get any for each other. ouch!) anyway, at 7pm, sara's mom called and said she was waiting for us at the monorail there, asked us to hurry up.
xp sara and i were debating which floor we came from (but i got it right. BWAHAHA!!! sara lousy lar) we were pulling each other, running to corners.. trying to recognise the shops. thing was, we saw ALL the shops so they ALL looked familiar. haha!! but by some sort of miracle, *also cuz we're so SMART bwahah*, we managed to find the place. =D the monorail was PACKED with people, most went off at 'hang tuah' though, thankfullly. so we actually got a place to sit.
aunty dropped me off and we said our goodbyes. =) at night i was ransacking my house looking for wrapping paper, for we didnt have time to get any earlier when we were out. fortunately i managed to find some leftovers. still need to buy somemore though for this one BIG pressie which i think needs 3 wrapping paper or 2 at the least. oh and for all of you who dont know, i suck at wrapping presents. *cough* maybe its due to the fact that i cant cut straight, but ANYWAY, after wrestling with the wrapping paper for an hour or so, i got all the presents (cept for the humongus one) wrapped!! what a success! yeah im so proud o' mahself now!
i mean, the wrapping dont look GREAT or anything, but hehe... at least its... OKAY LAR. (lets hope the guys does worse.. XD hahaa must save face man) *ahem* its the INSIDE that counts anyway, right? point is, I TRIED! (SO BE GRATEFUL...bwahah) and i think i improved!! i wonder how sara's doing with her share of wrapping. hmm...lousy wei khai got to escape from wrapping *kills*.
