we didn't win the chs idol.

no prize. no nothing. how sucky is THAT?!

there are four categories.
category A (form 1-3 solo singers) - 3 winners
category B (form 1-3 group singing) - 1 winner
category C (form 4-6 solo) - 3 winners
category D (form 4-6 group) - 3 winners

if you notice closely, you'll notice there is only one winner for category B while there are 3 for the other categories. can anyone explain to me why? the teacher in charge said they couldn't choose cuz we all sucked. okay, maybe she didn't put it like that, but she meant that la. ANNOYING. i mean, I AM OFFENDED. seriously. i don't think we're THAT bad. but kah kiat rated us 4 stars out of ten so maybe we are. i just didn't know better. oh well. Su ping is really ticked off. we all know that. she cried when she realised there wasn't gonna be runner ups for our category. and she said i wasn't serious cuz i said forget about it. well, what else can we do? its not like the teacher is going to change her mind anyway...stupid teacher.

i think us not winning had something to do with me cuz i didn't hold the mike properly. hell, i didn't know the correct way of holding the mike. no one taught me..well, maybe i was supposed to have common sense and know, but yea, i'm stupid, so sue me. so no one could hear me. at least thats what a lot of people said. some asid i was soft but could hear. some tried comforting me by saying, maybe your voice blended in and everything..but haih..i know i did badly. and i was scolded badly for that. trust me, i should know.

su ping actually hit me in the middle of the performance. indicating to me that i was holding the mike wrongly, but heck, i didn't know what she wanted to tell me then. what was on my mind was more like..'why you hit me for?' and then i ignored, cuz i couldn't make out head nor tail of why she hit me and continued singing. su ping also pushed sara's hand down cuz sara was pointing the mike at the speakers, producing this piercing sound. sis says she shouldn't have pushed sara's hand or hit mine though. cuz it looked like we sang wrongly or missed a line. then again, she only meant good. so nothing to say.

su ping cried after the performance..cuz brenda commented that she thought su pings voice sounded muffled. i think su ping really wants to win. haih...but seriously, i think she did well. i think it was more of me. oh well..lesson learnt, now i know how to hold the mike properly. Hey, this is a great learning experience for us all. and the school sound system sucks. brenda held the mike too far, so she was soft, but i know she was good..i could hear her..then again, this only my opinion. SARA WAS GRRRRREAAAAAAAT! that i know cuz everyone said so.she being her usual self was loud and strong and...*sigh* i love her!

anyway..sze ying's group won...not surprised. i mean, i kinda expected them to win already so...yea. her group consists of sze ying, nicole and shereen. they're really good. i like they're harmonization. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!
