Long overdue. Whooops. Pop. Whee!

On the 20th of October, i got an email stating that i had mail waiting for me at the reception. Because my second sis got my email from me weeks ago saying that my eldest sister wanted it, i thought it was a card from my sis. (she always sends birthday cards =D) so i went down to the reception (also to meet my second sister as she wanted to pass me laundry basket WHEE WHEE btw) and inquired about it. The receptionist was all,

'Letter or Parcel?'
'erm... should be a letter =)'

*checks book*
....
'parcel.'

and im all like O.O so he brings it over, i had only 2 seconds to look at it cause he asked for my ID and i didnt bring it down, which meant i had to go all the way up to the 4th floor at MY building and then come all the way to the reception AGAIN. TT

and in that 2 seconds, all i managed to see was this:

so i ran ran upstairs (bloody tiring btw) and went back to the reception to get it =D then ran ran back to my room and opened it (but not before taking pictures of the unopened parcel. WHOOP!)

but anyway, SUPAH SWEET LAH. x) made me feel all happy happy jumpy happy! =D somemore sent me an email 2 days ago saying OPEN WHEN EVENT HAPPENS. and i was like WHAT EVENT?!?!? and he was all you wont miss it, even a liying-yingxian will know. or something like that. LOL =___="

More current stuff now, went to south kensington with a few of mah hallmates to tour imperial (so big) and go to the science museum. Met up with one of their friends who brought her friends along, so it was like lse meets imperial? =__="?!?!

then we went to the science museum cause two ppl from my hall said they've been there when they were really little and they loved it, so its like WHOOP SCIENCE MUSUEM! *enthusiastic* mana tau it was quite sien. TT tssssh everything looked so much better when we were younger, now its all just bleaaaah. not as easily amused anymoooooreee.

Rufus fulfilling his dream hoho. this machine takes a picture of your face and transforms it to another gender. So apparently when he was a kid, he wanted to try it out, but his mom was all 'dont be silly.' so he didnt. AAWWWW! so we're guessing his mom was afraid he'd get this gender identity crisis or something. so anyway, AFTER THE LONG LONG WAIT OF 10 years? he finally got to do it! =D

only the machine suuuuucks, and hence didnt work.

Disappointing.

Then we went for this motion master ride thingy that cost 2 pounds. omg damn mild damn pathetic. sad sial. then again, it was meant for kids. so. lol.

verdict: DONT GO TO THE SCIENCE MUSEUM!

FOR THE PEOPLE THAT MISS ME AND ARE ALREADY STARTING TO FORGET HOW I LOOK LIKE. TT (random pictures from airport at bali, because flight was delayed for... a number of hours, i dont recall i dont recall i dont recall *bangs head on wall*)

no honestly im only putting pictures up because A CERTAIN SOMEBODY says my blog lacks photos and hence FAILS (tsssh, cause how could you guys ever forget how i look like right? lalala). *ahem-hem* though i think THAT SOMEBODY meant pictures of london, but EVERYBODY has already posted up the same photos. its like, same landmarks, different people in the photograph. =___=" not sien meh?

But anyway, i shall post a picture i took in london in every post from now, and if i run out of pictures, then perhaps i'll take more? =( omg what happened to the camwhore in me? NUUUOOOHHHH!!! liyiiiing, weijian, you're gonna have to help me do my share and camwhore more in my place. *sniff sniffff* I HAVE FAITH IN YOOOU, do not fall into this dark place that i have fallen to, where people think taking photos are just 'okay.' =( life as i know it has come to an end. its the start of a new era.

At my floor (in my hall), theres three rooms. My room, another shared room (2 girls) and a single room (a guy). So, the girls from the other room dont bother to lock their doors when they sleep and one night,

ONE NIGHT,

at like around 3am? the guy kinda went into their room, cause he was drunk (or so i believe) and just stood there watching one of the girls as she slept (omg?) she woke up but thought it was her roommate, so just drifted back to sleep. then she woke up again, and the guy was still there, THEN she realised it wasnt her roomie. the guy went over to her bed and knelt beside the bed and told her he had a crush on her and asked her to go to his room.

.....

she said no and managed to get him to go out of the room. thankfully he didnt do anything to her. *now you can exhale* dont worry for me though, imma fine, i ALWAYS lock my room door. hoho, paranoia comes in handy! (suping, this counts for a highfive)

thought he was pretty nice and friendly at first though. i dont know if he doesnt remember anything or what? but he hasnt apologised to the girl since. So perhaps he doesnt remember? Well either way, i dont really care, dont see him around anyway =)

What I took away from my first psychology class:-

Science is the accumulation of useless and boring knowledge.

honestly, its just WEEEIRD.

Lecture has been going fine though, perhaps it gets better? *prays* oh and the first thing the lecturer said when we entered the class,

'There are a few things you should know about me. Not everything, but just a few things since we'll be spending the rest of the term together. I have a few character flaws, I have low tolerance for stupidity, i do not like stupid people. So do not ask stupid questions or i will get angry. And you won't like it when i get angry. And if any point of time you feel that i don't like you, it's because i don't. I do not treat everyone the same, i have favorites.'

Intimidating.

Plus, he's the guy who wrote all the articles and the book we have to read. =___=" omg omg omg. Japanese guy, kind of reminds me of those samurai movies, their sifu, damn stern and sort of scary. Know the kind? he totally emits the same kind of aura, im not even kidding. At any second hes gonna whip out his katana and slash us and use us for the sake of gaining more knowledge, cause human life means nothing. blablablbalbalbalbla...

Anyway, been watching the big bang theory lately,

Can't seem to get my study engine to get a move on. Took me three days just to read up my econs, which was just 20 pages. I am ashamed of myself TT procrastination bug, please please go away, come again during the holidays.

thanks to CHYELING LIIIING who acted like a stalker cause i didnt have her number and she was texting me telling me she wanted to meet me and stuff. i GUESSED it was her, but she denied and went all 'who is she?' omg lah, got me so confused. i was like WHO COULD IT BE?!! thanks for meeting me and getting me caaaaakkeee x) MEH NEED TO HANG OUT LAAAH WEIIIIHHH!!

and also special thanks to Joyee, Nicole and SzeYing who also called and started singing birthday song. HAHAHA you PEOPLE! x) later at night, after this hall welcoming thing (which was pretty fun), i went to nick's place and hung for a bit. came back and was talking to joyee on skype when all of a sudden i heard a knock on the door (several knocks...)

opened the door and out stood a few of my hallmates. and they had cake and a card and then they started singing the birthday song, i was kinda like OMG DAMN PAISEH, cause it wasnt like we were very close before that. meh. SUPER AWESOME PPL LAAAAH, and now we're... a family. lol!

So i spent the whole of my today with the one and only crazy amazing KAAAREEEN! =D probably one of the bestest people on the planet XD anyway, so we were walking down the street right and all of a sudden this guy sorta goes

'Do you know the way to blablabla'
(couldnt hear what blablabla was, hence the blablabla)
and we shook our heads and said no.

'Are you from china?'
'no'
'Where are you from?'
'We're from Malaysia'
'Oh! isn't that a muslim country?'
'yeaaah.'
'But there are others too right?'
'yeah'
'Can you guess where i am from? Its near your country.'
'Er... Singapore? Indonesia?'
'No, India, Pakistan or Bangladesh, its one of the three.'
'err... India?'

*he extends his hand...*

'Pakistan.'

So i shake his hand... and then he pulls me in for an embrace =___=" and i mean if its friendly then er OKAY, i mean hes just some RANDOM stranger on the road okay. but it was MORE than that. he hugged like LONGER than the usual FRIENDLY hugs. to the point that karen started to pull me away from him, cause it was SO WEIRD. i had this weird thought that he might be trying to take something from my bag? Take note that it was also RAINING at the time so it was kinda awkward (like we're trying to get to SHADE, yo). Then after he was done hugging me, he kinda MOVED to hug karen, but karen kinda moved away, but he was so PERSISTENT

'DONT WORRY. DONT WORRY.'

and then he HUGGED HER =.= and then he tried to KISS HER ON THE CHEEK, but luckily she managed to shield herself. super wth man. DAMN RANDOM SHIT. then after that he went

'okay i think i have to go now.'

and we're like.. er okay bye =.=

shiiiiiit weird. SHIIIIIT weird. i mean SERIOUSLY. Im sorry im so skeptical about this, but its not like we were at some FUNCTION, we were just walking on the street and SUDDENLY this fella pops outta nowhere and attacks us with his warmth and affection (if that was what it was meant to be), WELL IT DOESNT SOUND BAD WHEN I PUT IT LIKE THAT, but you know what i mean. =.= sigh.

Super freaked.

DUMDUMDUUUUMMM!!!

went to the british museum yesterday with my roomie. the place is HUMONGOUS,so i haven't seen everything yet, only went through the Greek and Egyptian sections.

The Mummy's really creep-ed me out. The ones where they wrap it up so that you cannot see the body shape and stuff is FIIINEEE but there are some where you CAN see and its like OH MAN =( i don't know, i just didnt like it. and there were SO MANY. SO. SO. MANY.

Oh yesterday damn malu =___=" was walking back to my hall with a friend , it was REALLY REALLY dark and i was busy talking, hence not paying attention to my surroundings. All of a sudden this guy taps my arm and goes 'Li May!' and i screamed and backed away. =_____=" ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG. it was INSTINCT OKAY!! =( felt so super bad after that, cause he was with his bunch of friends. lol, damn no faaaaceeee grrr!! The other day i was with my sis and we were done doing the stuff we had to do (haha) so i told her she could leave first cause she was rushing somewhere. So she did, and i left the place later and was texting someone, suddenly my sis came out of nowhere and went GYAAARRR in front of my face =__=" and i started screaming too.

I CANT HELP IT.

bleaaaaah.

Met this girl yesterday, really really sweet. She invited us to her hall after we were done with the library tour (so boring wth) and baked chocolate cake. Friggin awesome, can? oohohohohohoho

Anyway, LOVE YOU GUYS. and MISS YOU GUYS LOTS. Seriously. I miss being all stupid and having people to be all stupid with me. OHOHOHOHO and i miss the bloody randomness of the shit you guys come up with. Slightly sick of being so proper and always trying to come up with something to say. =( Im so bad at that. Stalker tendencies pays off

Funny little story today... so i was supposed to go for my course orientation today... had to walk to uni alone because i didnt know any other persons from my hall who were going, well i did know one girl, but i didnt take down her number so *shrug*. Anyway, its really easy to get from my hall to the uni, all you've got to do is walk STRAIGHT AAAAAAAAALL the way. SERIOUSLY.

So there i was, walking straight... straight... straight. pretty fast pace too, got a teensy bit annoyed because i was walking at this fast pace but all the Europeans were walking at this nice slow relaxed pace and were STILL faster than me. they were overtaking me left, right, everywhere!! =( SHORT LEGS. GRR!! anyway, so i was walking walking walking WALKING DAMN LONG but i still had not arrived at the uni, so i was like oh shit, am i LOST AGAIN (yes i got lost the previous day.. ohohoho shuttup you.)?!??!! and i texted nick, 'haha i think im lost. im at fishers street.' and he texted back that he didnt know where that was. and im like =(

then suddenly i saw this guy with the lse orientation 2009 small booklet (which is hung on the neck) thing and i was like WHOOP! so i started stalking him XD OHOHOHOHOHOHO he was walking at LIGHTNING SPEED i was having a hard time following after him. thankfully there was this traffic light. so i walked up next to him and went,

'do you know the way to lse?'

because he may have very well been walking to somewhere else.

'yeah im actually going there myself right now'

'oh good, because i dont know the way and im kinda lost'

'its your 3rd day here and you still dont know the way?'

OMIGOD MAY FAIL.

haha but it was cool. he was really nice! I could actually click with him! like he said that he's staying at one of the IC halls so he hasnt met many lse students and its kind of lonely. so i was like 'AH THATS OKAY, NOW YOU'VE MET ME!!!!' and we both went like 'HAAAAH' (the whole pointing and HEHEH thing. you know you know? OHOHOHO) i love it when i meet my kind of people, so hard to come by, really! just a stroke of luck! (note: i WAS on the right way, i just had to walk on a little further)

course orientation was alright. Met lots of people. What's cool is peoples reaction when i tell them im from Malaysia. I get responses such as,

'OH MY ROOMMATE IS FROM MALAYSIA TOO!'

'OH MY BEST FRIEND IS MALAYSIAN!'

and some of them start naming malaysians from their hall, but i dont know ANY of them =.= whoops? kinda funny still. MALAYSIANS INVADING THE SPACE NEAR YOU. ohohoho =D watch out world.

after my orientation thing, i walked back to my hall, came on skype and talked to dad and sis and realised that i had to walk all the way back to uni because the bank is there (bank appointment). i was like OH GOD. NOOOOOO. SO. BLOODY. FAR. =( but i had no choice. i left my hall pretty late and had only 17 minutes to get there.

and you know on the leaflet they wrote 20 minutes distance away from lse? =_=" HORRIBLE. i was speed walking all the way. my shoelaces became undone but i couldnt bend down and do them up because i had NO TIME to. i crossed the road even when the light was red (haha just look both ways before crossing laaaah, just like msia), and felt like such a BAD ASS. like OOH LOOK AT ME, CROSSING ON RED.

okay fine, so lots of people was doing it too.

STILL.

i syiok sendiri. XD story of my life.

went to the bank place was sweating and everything. BLEAAAAAH. bumped into thengseng, calvin and erm, yeelian was it? guy who was filing the papers for me is 19 too! so young! he was telling us (me and sis) that he started working right after high school, because he didnt wanna study no more, wanted to come out and earn money. lol he was really funny =D

ps. the pigeons here are bloody fearless. you walk up to them thinking they'll fly away like REGULAR birds but they just stare back at you with their beady little eyes, daring you to take a step closer. perhaps they have allies close by that will poop on you if you take on the challenge, i dont know. me no likey the brave ass pigeons!! I like regular birds.
