Oooops!! Mom just told me that you're not supposed to share drinks when there are free refills. My bad. Sorry on my part. I honestly had no idea, none of us did. I guess it all make sense, but you know, im a bit blur... and lacking of common sense at times. I admit it. On the other hand, the lady still shouldn't have been so rude. If she had told me nicely, i would not have reacted the way i did. Mom said that she should have let us go this one time and just told us nicely as we paid the bill. I still think what happened today was really funny (mom laughed lots too XD), though feeling a bit of guilt sink in now. Perhaps the lady was rude to me because i did not hear her the first time she said it. Perhaps she thought i was ignoring her, thats why she was rude after. Well, we'll never know. Again, SORRY SORRY SORRY on my part. but SHE COULDA BEEN NICER(trying to push some of the guilt on her. xp)

the tale of ice lemon tea and the mean old lady
Had two hours break today (as math teacher was absent), so we decided to eat at this cafe that we always wanted to go to but always somehow forgot. There was a sign near the door stating that for students, we'd get
- 10% discount for our meal,
- FREE REFILLS for ice lemon tea,
- no extra charge for additional rice or noodles.
'Since its free refills anyway, why dont i share a drink with you (shereena)!'
so yeah. we shared the drink. after we finished the drink, i called for the guy (waiter dude) and asked if we could get refills. he said 'self service'. It wasnt like it was those coke stands or something where you couldnt move the stupid machine. It was just a normal container that you lifted up and poured. So i was pretty surprised. I guess its their strategy. Because how many people would leave their table to get refills in the middle of their meal?
Anyway, after i was done eating, i took the cup we were sharing and suat wei's cup to the counter to refill. There was this LADY (yes, the lady mentioned in the title) standing there. She was writing something on this notepad and mumbling.. something about no share no share. I just assumed she was talking to herself because she didnt even LOOK at me. so im like wtv lar... Shereena and i finished the drink really fast, so i went for a second refill.
The lady looked up at me and went

She sorta placed her hand centimeters above the container and went 'SORRY.' (in the very rude way, thats why its in CAPS.) and i was like WTH!! super pissed can?!?! so i went back to my table with the empty cup feeling all URRRGHHHH!!! I mean, they didnt state that at the sign right? it wasnt

We all got super fired up. and shereena said apparently the lady was staring at us before that as we were eating. Crazy much?? so, we plotted our revenge in the form of... us swapping cups with puiyee.. so she helped us filled our drink. and us all drinking lotsa ice lemon tea and refilling shit loadsa times.
She even had to refill teh container cause there wasnt enough
Could see she was damn pissed at us XD, she was like FUMIIING! she kept like walking past our table. POOR MEAN OLD LADY. AAWW. so not. and its weird because the OWNER didnt seem to mind at all. and im pretty sure that lady is just a worker there. retarded right?!?!
In the end, we were super super filled with fluids. but just for the heck of it, we filled the cups up one last time. and left it on the table untouched. XD damn mean, i know. BUT SHE WAS MEAN FIRST *sulks*
So we went to the counter to pay. The lady said 'RM17' (around there) and shereena and i were about to hand her our cash as the owner stepped in and took over the cashier instead. The lady walked away in a huff!! so we handed the owner the RM17.. and the owner says

Anyway. It was pretty funny, the whole thing. XD Watching her fume was just AWESOME! Never going back there again =.= The cabonara spagetti was disappointing anyway. Better to go to peppercorn. RM2.50 more expensive, but its much much nicer, and you get complementary garlic bread and the service is SOOO GREAT it blows your mind away.

Present for suat wei, all ready to be given awayYesterday as we entered the bio lab after the short break miss lena gave us, suat wei saw that teacher was using post-it notes and commented on it, saying how she uses post-it notes too. So i went 'OH! I KNOW WHAT TO GET FOR YOU FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY ALREADY!!'

she immediately GROANED and went 'PLEASE NOOOOO!!! I DONT WAAAANT!!' and went on explaining how she has loads at home and stuff. Suat Wei is super gullible lo. XD I kept teasing her saying how i didnt care, and i was going to give her post-it notes anyway. Wrote it on my msn nick. on Plurk. And said it more than 20 times in college.
